McCann University becomes the No.1 online college in Korea

Korea is one of the 4 economic dragons in Asia, its GDP ranks top in Asia and even in the world. Korea has a history of respecting education, now there are 20000 schools, 80% are higher education institutes, 22.8% of the government budget goes to education bureau.

Korea is the first country in Asia to start online education, and its online education level is also the highest in Asia. The most famous online colleges are: Seoul University, Korea University, Korea National Open University etc. Degrees from these famous online colleges are widely acknowledged by all the Korean companies or institutions. Tuition from these colleges is even higher than common campus tuition, the courses are also more difficult than campus courses.

Koreans are famous for their passion in their own product and nationality. Thus when McCann University first came to Korean market, they met a lot of difficulty. So McCann University is the earliest American Online University acknowledged by Korean Education Bureau. In 2006, McCann University possessed 37.2% of all the online education market in Korea, for the first time became the No.1 online college in Korea.
